These 3 Foods Will Pack on the Muscle Quickly

[dropcap]I[/dropcap]f you’re finally looking to get in shape for the summer and get a really awesome body, you’re not going to get it simply by going to the gym and lifting weights.

That’s the main thing that’s going to help you, but you need a quality diet to see any progress at all.

In addition, a muscle building supplement wouldn’t hurt you, either. But the thing that will mostly get you to reach your goals is the food you eat, and there’s a solid chance that you’re not eating any of the right foods.

You need a combination of nutrient-dense foods, protein-packed foods, and calorie-dense foods. This will allow you to see the most impressive gains.

So if you’re looking to see amazing gains in the gym week after week, these 3 foods will help get you there:

#1 Salmon

If you’re not a fan of fish, suck it up and deal with it. Salmon is packed with no many nutrients that you’d be stupid to ignore it. In addition to amazingly beneficial omega-3 fatty acids that are awesome for your heart, you’ll also receive up to 30g of protein, depending on the size of the cut of fish you bought.

But on average, you’ll get roughly 30g of protein in just an 8 oz. piece of salmon. Not bad at all. Considering you need 1 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight to see optimal gains, this will help you big time.

#2 – Broccoli

Broccoli is amazingly nutritious, and it’ll fulfill your vegetable requirement in a delicious way. The reason I picked this was because it also contains protein, as well as dietary fiber to keep you regular and not weighed down by waste.

The protein in broccoli is actually, per pound, higher than a steak! You obviously won’t be eating a pound of broccoli, but the protein content is higher than meat, surprisingly. Bet you didn’t know that!

#3 – Potatoes

Potatoes round out the perfect meal. They provide your body with immensely important complex carbs, which allow you to see a huge boost in energy throughout the day. You most likely don’t want to eat too many of these because of the high calorie content, but a medium amount is perfect.

Plus, there are so many ways to cook them hat you’ll never get bored of them.

So if you’re looking for a quick, healthy, and awesome meal, salmon, broccoli, and potatoes will make you feel awesome.

It really isn’t a bad idea to eat this meal once or twice per week, and it tastes so good that you’ll actually WANT to eat it.
