How to Reduce Your Chances of Getting Cancer

[dropcap]C[/dropcap]ancer sucks. Absolutely nobody on earth wants to get any type of cancer.

Getting cancer means months or perhaps years of chemo therapy, and maybe a lifetime of ailments that will follow you. And even if you beat cancer, there’s always the chance that it could come back with a vengeance.

While there is not yet a single cause for why people get cancer, there are known carcinogens that promote the growth of cellular tissue that results in an out of control growth of cells called cancer.

These carcinogens, when minimized, are not linked to an outstanding formation of cancer cells.

Therefore, we can conclude that maximizing the reduction of carcinogens gives you the best shot at reducing your chances of getting cancer.

Here are the most common carcinogens to avoid:

  • Smoking

Obviously, this is #1 in the cancer-causing agents.

Cigarettes contain over 10 chemicals, and most of them are harmful to the human body. We’ve known for over 2 decades that they’re extremely bad for you, but people continue to use them.

The nicotine in them keep people coming back, but it’s this very addictive nature that makes them so dangerous. One or two isn’t that bad, but 30 years of smoking can wreak total havoc on your body.

Avoid smoking, and you’ll cut your chances of developing cancer by up to 40%

  • Avoid Processed American Food

Typically, food in the freezers and food that’s in boxes and packages are the most harmful. These often contain artificial preservatives, artificial ingredients, and cheap ingredients just ot make the product cheaper.

You’ll also find that most of these foods are high in acrylamide, which is a cancer-causing agent. This chemical is found mostly in potato chips, cookies, and crackers, as well as other breads and dried snacks.

In addition, the combination of high-fructose corn syrup and other ingredients that haven’t been studied long-term are quite bad for you.

  • Stop Drinking Soda

Soda is extremely bad for you. Coke looks like toxic sludge, so that should be a giveaway that you probably shouldn’t be putting that into your body every day.

The worst part is that a lot of people turn to diet sodas, which often contain artificial sugars like xylitol and aspartame. These chemical sugars have not been studied long-term, and while they say they’re say, you can’t trust them.

It’s best to avoid them.

If you avoid all of these nasty habits, you should be better off. Nobody wants to get cancer, so you should be taking every measure to fight off cancer.

By reducing the amount of artificial ingredients and chemicals that you’re ingesting, you’ll be able to live a longer, more fruitful life.
