[dropcap]I[/dropcap]f you’re like most people who go to work every day, getting up in the morning is a tiresome and often terrible occurrence.
Sure, there are some morning people out there who enjoy getting up early, but most people dread that alarm clock noise like the plague.
But most people simply accept the fact that they’re going to be tired every day, and they care little about how to fix the situation.
Do you want to be tired? Of course not. So why not fix it?
Here are 3 reasons why you’re so damn tired every day, and what you can do to fix them:
#1 – Too Much Coffee Every Day
Drinking coffee or Kratom powder every day is how people wake themselves up to get ready for work. But this is the very thing that’s causing a vicious cycle of constant tiredness.
The caffeine in coffee causes the release of adrenaline in your brain, which is what gives you a spike of energy.
It causes the fight or flight response in your body. This wakes you up, sure, but it also causes your central nervous system to be in a state of constant overdrive.
Imagine if you were running around 12 hours per day, every day? You’d be completely exhausted.
This is sort of what your body is doing.
So when you wake up in the morning, your body is getting a hangover effect from the loss of caffeine.
Cutting down caffeine usage can make you feel more awake in the morning, as well as throughout the day.
#2 – Not Good Sleep
This often is a contributing factor of reason #1, funnily enough.
Because of the constant consumption of caffeine, your body may find it hard to go to sleep at night. In addition, the sleep is not the most restful sleep you can have.
You need proper REM sleep to be completely recharged.
More often than not, you’re getting just an hour or less of REM sleep, causing you to feel extremely tired in the morning.
One thing you can do, aside from cutting down on coffee, is to reduce the usage of screen devices like TV and computers.
#3 – Use a Screen Dimming Software
In our modern age, it’s not uncommon for people to look at screens all day, come home to more screens, and then fall asleep to one.
This causes your brain to be constantly awake, and does not have a chance to wind down to give you a chance to immediately fall asleep when you want to.
If you use a program like Flux, which dims your screen to an orange tint at night to help you get sleepy when it’s the right time, you’ll be ready for bed before you even hit the pillow.
This will allow you to get proper REM sleep!
